About
What is Tron
Tron is a smart contract platform for decentralized applications (a blockchain). Tron was founded by Justin Sun and launched in 2018.
How does Tron work
Validators process transactions and receive validator rewards. Super representatives and super representative partners receive voting rewards. TRX stakers receive energy and bandwidth incentives.
Who governs Tron
TRON holders own and govern the protocol. They currently take (burn) all of the total transaction fees paid by users (revenue). TRX stakers also receive energy and bandwidth that they can spend for transactions (we calculate this as both revenue and token incentives).
